$103K - $130K a year Seeking a creative & strategic experienced professional to lead our Communications strategy based on forward-thinking, trend forecasting, industry insights, and an intimate understanding of the ever-evolving DAF landscape to keep AEF at the forefront.
This role is hybrid for candidates in Ohio, reports to our Director of Marketing and Communications, and is part art and part science - has a passion for communications, building relationships, and innovative content, balanced with strong analytical skills and extensive media relations network.
The Associate Director of Communications, reporting directly to the Marketing & Communications Director, plays a pivotal role in advancing AEF's business strategy by spearheading a comprehensive communication approach.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans that align with the organization's objectives and values and will oversee the implementation of all internal and external communications.
Their duties include developing content for internal and external newsletters, emails, memos, and thought leadership pieces.
Internally, the Associate Director of Communications collaborates closely with different departments to align messaging and inform team members about important initiatives, updates, and achievements.
Externally, through effective content creation and media relations, the Associate Director ensures consistent messaging and enhances AEF's reputation as a thought leader within the industry.
By driving AEF's online presence and fostering strong internal and external collaborations, they contribute significantly to the organization's growth and success.
Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree required.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (8
years) in a similar role, demonstrating successful development and execution of communication strategies.
Proficiency in leveraging various communication channels, including digital media, social media, and traditional media outlets.
Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in communications.
Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
Experience in financial services is appreciated but not required PROFESSIONAL SKILLS Proven leadership qualities with strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences, including senior management.
Strong leadership and management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members.
Effective communicator, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
Strength of character, demonstrating integrity, objectivity, and competence necessary to build trust in their position and work effectively across the organization.
Self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has the ability to take initiative and work both independently and as member of a team.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
