Job Overview The Inventory Planner will be responsible for deploying processes and tools to perform the key forecasting activities within the distribution business.
You will be a key member of the inventory planning team making cross-functional decisions including short-and long-term stocking strategy, systems implementation, and inventory optimization in a rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities and Duties Building strategies to improve ABC stratification, reorder points updates, forecast accuracy, and inventory optimization Development and execution of the stocking strategies for each warehouse Approval of requisitions for new stocking items in accordance with company policies Kitting Bill-of-Material maintenance and work order management by warehouse.
Improving forecasting models and their application to the Pipeline business Process improvement for managing inventory turns, forecast alerts, and disposition of excess and obsolete inventory Assist during physical inventories Development of monthly cycle count criteria and assist with the Operations Team in managing the process Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or other technical discipline that is relevant to assigned responsibilities 3-5 years of experience in an inventory planning role within in a distribution environment Experience working in Oracle or third-party demand planning tools is a plus Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment.
Strong work ethic, can-do attitude, team player and ability to embrace and adapt to change.
Project Management experience, preferred Proficient in manipulating large data filed in Microsoft Excel for reporting, preferred INDUSTRY LEADING BENEFIT PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES LOW EMPLOYEE PREMIUMS FOR MEDICAL INSURANCE, UNMATCHED RETIREMENT PROGRAMS AS AN EMPLOYEE OWNER, DENTAL, VISION, LIFE AND DISABILITY INSURANCES.
