Mission:
Work with Product Designers, Product and Manufacturing Engineers, and Quality Assurance in development of new product concepts, providing expert knowledge in optimum plastic part design, tooling, assembly, and manufacturing methods.
Key Result Areas: Develop 3D CAD & 2D drawings in the creation of engineered parts and product assemblies. Demonstrate skill in using PTC Creo and SolidWorkds CAD Systems Work closely with Product Engineers and Designers in the development of engineering CAD Focused on minimizing product cost and ease of assembly Ensure that all products meets or exceed industry standards
Position Requirements:?
Education/
Experience: Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Plastics Engineering Technology or five years of equivalent related work experience in plastic product designSkills/Knowledge/Ability: Minimum of two-years experience with PTC Creo or similar 3D modeling software. Experience working with large assemblies, surfacing, and mechanism design a plus Excellent ability to visualize and transfer thoughts to CAD systems Proven project management skills demonstrating the ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects in a dynamic environment while achieve schedules and deadlines Must be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
