Engineer III - Network Operation

Job Description Essential Requirements:         Skilled at executing documented actions in a technical area, including integration, configuration and validation. Documents procedures for review and approval by management.         Analyze and resolve complex problems around critical application.         Determines, develops and maintains best solutions to problems withlimited direction.         Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve internal and external customer issues and may communicate status related to such collaboration. Makes recommendations on solutions and / or technical direction. Work with other engineers to complete project deadlines and technical projects. General Requirements:         Must possess good/excellent analytical, organizational and timemanagement skills.         Effective written and verbal communication skills         Effective inter-personal and problem solving skills         Possess advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills         Possesses in-depth knowledge of the practical application of engineering technology. Uses broad application of established principles & theories.         SME within selected discipline to support product deployment projects.         Has firm understanding of the product architecture, technology, dependencies and interactions with other components. Desired Qualifications:     Strong people and presentation skills     Strong ability to work complex problems, evaluate information and arrive at creative solutions     Solid UNIX shell and PERL scripting skills     4-years experience with Linux, Sun Solaris, or other Unix Systems     Ability to work across different organizations within the company     Advanced troubleshooting skills Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:     Act as first level support between user organizations for support of the operational support systems.     Support and maintain a variety of applications     Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects     Rotating on-call afterhours support     Provide regular detailed updates to management     Provide a clear and concise line of communication to management     Interact often with leaders from other groups     Provide updates and present information to management when needed     Work directly with Vendors     Read and assimilate admin guides and manuals and present that information to other groups     Organize and lead regular cross-organizational meetings Job Requirements Education and Experience:   College degree in Engineering or a related field and 3-5 years professional level experience; or 7+ years professional level related Engineering/Technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Engineering/Technical experience required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
